A sign-up wall in front of a five-second operation exists to collect an email address, not to make the tool work. There is no account here, and there is nowhere for one to be useful.

Why so many QR sites ask you to register
An account is how a service tracks the codes it is redirecting for you, and that redirect is how it earns. Registration is also the point in itself: an email address attached to a small business that is printing signage is worth considerably more than the code.
None of that machinery applies to a code whose payload sits in the pattern. There is nothing being redirected, no scans to attribute to an owner, and no per-code cost to recover — so there is nothing for an account to do.
What no account actually changes
- No email, no password, no verification link, no marketing to unsubscribe from later.
- No session tying a code to a person — the two are never associated, because nothing is sent anywhere.
- Nothing to lose access to: no dashboard holding your codes hostage, no expiring links, no scans being counted against a quota.
Phone number QR code generator works the moment the page loads — on a shared machine, in a private window, on somebody else's laptop.
The code you download is the whole artefact. There is no copy of it on our side.
The trade-off, honestly
Because there is no account, there is no history and no editing. A code you made yesterday is not waiting for you today, and once it is printed the destination cannot be changed — that is what static means.
If you genuinely need to change where a code points after printing, you need a dynamic code, and a dynamic code needs somewhere to store the destination. That half of the product does have an account, and it is the only part that does.
Questions people ask
No. There is no account system on the static generator at all — open the page and use it. Nothing is gated behind an email address.
